IASP Results and Crowdfunding for ICASA!

A large group of ICASA participants is working very hard to publish the results of the IASP study. We are analyzing the data of over 3600 patients with addictions from 10 countries. Of these 3600 we have over 1250 diagnostic interviews on ADHD, Anti social personality disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline personality disorder and Depression. We expect to submit our publications to international journals before the summer season starts.

IASP Training and IASP in adolescents
Today we continued the training for the IASP study. We decided to add some instruments to the basic toolkit of instruments: we will use the modules of K-SADS for Conduct Disorder (CD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

	ICASA symposium at World ADHD Federation Conference The World ADHD Federation Conference was held for the 3rd time, also in Berlin. The so called Hot Topic symposium, scheduled on Thursday 26th May had the subject ADHD and SUD. Over 200 delegates joined us for this ICASA-symposium! Read more..

Training sessions South Africa
At least two universities in South Africa will participate in the IASP study. We were very lucky to find sponsors for training sessions at those universities. The training is about the methods and instruments used in the IASP study.

Shortly after my return from Budapest, where Mate Kapitany did his first data sampling for the IASP, I received a message from Berne, Switzerland: Our colleagues there finished their data sampling for the IASP-study.
